The Presbyterian Church in India (Reformed) affirms Reformed theology. We believe the Bible, consisting of 66 books, is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God (2 Tim. 3:16–17; 2 Pet. 1:21), the supreme and final authority in all matters of life, faith, and practice.
We believe in the Triune God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We also affirm the monergistic work of salvation—justification by grace through faith alone in Jesus Christ (Eph. 2:8).
From its formation, the Presbyterian Church in India (Reformed) has adopted Presbyterian polity as a scriptural form of church government, recognizing the Lord Jesus Christ as the supreme Head of the Church. Authority is exercised through three offices: Teaching Elders, Ruling Elders, and Deacons.
The Church is governed by three courts—Session, Presbytery, and General Assembly—each supported by Working Committees when necessary.
Furthermore, the following points summarize the values on which the Presbyterian Church in India (Reformed) would carry out its ministries.
“Upholding the Scripture as the infallible Word of God. Committed to the Commission of Jesus Christ. Standing in the historic expression of Reformed Faith. Living as God’s redeemed to the praise of the Glory of His Grace”
The Presbyterian Church in India (Reformed) is a Protestant Christian denomination rooted in Reformed theology, emphasizing scripture, disciplined worship, and community service
